The MS016 tester for diagnostics of alternator voltage regulators is a compact, multifunctional device for express diagnostics of automotive 12 / 24 V alternators, reversible 12 V alternators of Stop-Start system, installed starters, and voltage regulators separately from alternators. The device reads and saves the data transmitted via the LIN bus of a vehicle.
Applicability:
- Performance assessment of automotive alternators with a nominal voltage of 12 / 24 V and reversible alternators with a nominal voltage of 12 / 24 V (VALEO I-StARS). The diagnosis is carried out either on a car or on the test bench that provides the drive and load on the alternator.
- Performance assessment of voltage regulators separately from alternators.
- Reading and saving data transmitted via the LIN bus of a vehicle («LIN analyzer» function).
- Diagnosing starters without their removal (only in connection with cable MS-33503 or MS-33503A, not included in the scope of delivery).
