The MS015A tester is a simple and user-friendly device for express diagnostics of 12 and 24V automobile alternators with a controlled or digital voltage regulator directly on the vehicle. Common alternator malfunctions and problems such as voltage regulator failure can be identified quickly and efficiently. It can also determine whether or not the alternator needs to be removed from the vehicle or not for repair or replacement.
The following can be assessed during the diagnosis:
- the compliance of the alternator's output voltage with its specified value
- the alternator's ability to regulate the output voltage and the accuracy of such regulation
- the feedback channel (FR, DFM, M, LI) functionality of the voltage regulator
- data on the COM-type voltage regulator (helps in selecting a replacement in case of malfunction)
Advantages:
- Diagnosis of 12 V/24 V automotive alternators without removal from the vehicle
- Powered by the vehicle onboard network
- Compact size and ease of use
- Free firmware updates
1 year warranty from the manufacturer.
