The Rainco Leak Finder helps you detect leaks in pipe systems, air intake systems and coolant tanks that conform to SAE-standards. The tester produces a large amount of smoke in a short amount of time to effectively highlight the leak.

  1. Open the engine cover and place the device under the cover
  2. Disconnect the pipe to connect it to the device, if both sides of the pipe have to be disconnected, please make sure to block the other end with a rubber cover
  3. Please make sure that this end is properly blocked with a cone or pipe and connect it to the smoke output tube
  4. Connect the device to the DC 12V battery: Red = Positive, Black = Negative
  5. Turn on the power switch, the device will start working
  6. In 2 minutes the pipe fills with smoke and can now be checked for leaks, use a torch or a headtorch if needed
  7. After the leak has been located, connect the pipes and wires tightly
